Vice President of Products
Indexed description
Our client is a fast-growing consumer platform combining VOIP and communications with an expanding fintech suite, and is looking for a VP of Product to lead the consumer product and business organization.
This is a senior, execution-focused leadership role with full P&L ownership across communications and financial services.
This is not a blue-sky role. We're looking for someone who can operate at pace, drive outcomes, and raise the bar on execution across a complex, multi-product organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
Product Strategy & P&L Ownership
• Own end-to-end product strategy and P&L across firm's consumer product lines
• Define and execute the roadmap for communications, and the full fintech suite
• Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer acquisition across product lines
• Set clear OKRs and hold the organisation accountable for commercial outcomes
Fintech Product Execution
• Launch and scale Remittance, Cards, Payroll, Wealth, Micro-Lending, and Acquiring products
• Identify market-specific opportunities and drive category leadership in priority markets
• Work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and commercial teams to ship at pace
Leadership & Organization
• Lead and scale a high-performing product organization across multiple verticals
• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team on strategic priorities
• Instill a culture of ownership, urgency, and data-driven decision-making
• Act as the voice of the product to external stakeholders, partners, and regulators
Qualifications
Essential
• 12+ years of product leadership experience, with at least 3-5 years at VP or equivalent level
• Proven track record leading consumer-facing fintech or super app products at scale
• Experience owning a product P&L and delivering against commercial targets
• Deep understanding of at least two of: digital payments, remittance, card products, lending, or wealth management
• Strong execution DNA - someone who drives pace, removes blockers, and gets things done
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (product, engineering, design, data, commercial)
Desirable
• Experience in the GCC or broader international markets
• Familiarity with regulated financial services environments (central bank licensing, compliance frameworks)
• Background in high-growth technology companies or challenger fintechs – Arabic language skills (not required)
