Chief Operating Officer (COO) — Dubai

About the role

The COO is primarily responsible for coordinating and overseeing the overall operations of VEX Group and all of its business units. This role serves as the central point that aligns and integrates the organizational structure.

What you'll do

• Oversee all operational areas of the group.
• Coordinate teams across Dubai, Colombia, Mexico, and other countries.
• Track each department's objectives and KPI performance.
• Coordinate operations and the group's other brands.
• Oversee budgets, projects, campaigns, and launches.
• Prepare executive reports for the Board.
• Implement processes, policies, and procedures, and resolve roadblocks between departments.

Required:

• Native Spanish and English at a C1 level — direct interaction with banks, PSPs, regulators, auditors, and international partners; must present to the Board and negotiate in English.
• At least 7 years of experience in operations leadership, ideally at a broker, prop firm, fintech, or financial services company.
• Experience leading teams distributed across multiple countries and time zones.
• A real understanding of the trading business and its operational risks, not just general finance knowledge.
• Experience working with Compliance and Legal in regulated environments.
• A demonstrated ability to build processes and reporting systems where none existed before.
• Availability Monday–Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with 8 hours in-office (Monday–Friday 2:00–10:00 p.m., Saturday 2:00–6:00 p.m.), and willingness to travel.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in the UAE or MENA markets.
• Arabic — a plus for local institutional and banking relationships, but not a dealbreaker.
• An execution-first profile, not purely strategic: someone who puts the operation in order, not just designs it

Compensation

AED 12,000 per month + commissions. Visa included.
