Chief of Staff – Technology | UAE National (Emiratisation)

General Overview:

We are partnering with a leading financial services organization in the Dubai to recruit an experienced Chief of Staff – Technology (Emirati) to join its leadership team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded professional to work closely with the Group Chief Information Officer (CIO), driving high-impact technology initiatives, governance, and organizational transformation across the business.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the technology strategy, overseeing executive priorities, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic programs within a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with the CIO to drive strategic initiatives, executive priorities, and business objectives across the Technology function.
• Lead governance activities, including executive leadership meetings, steering committees, board reporting, and performance reviews.
• Monitor and oversee the delivery of strategic programs, ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed.
• Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, reports, and briefing materials for senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
• Coordinate annual strategic planning, budgeting, operating plans, and technology performance reporting.
• Establish governance frameworks to track KPIs, portfolio performance, risks, and key business deliverables.
• Collaborate with Technology, Digital, Risk, Finance, HR, Procurement, and other business functions to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Support enterprise transformation initiatives, organizational change, and continuous process improvement.
• Conduct strategic research, analysis, and business planning to support executive decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders while ensuring effective communication and alignment across the organization.

Key Requirements:

• Emirati with a FamiIy Book – Mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is highly advantageous.
• 8–12 years of experience within banking, financial services, consulting, or large corporate environments.
• Proven experience within a Chief of Staff, Executive Office, CIO Office, Technology Strategy, Digital Transformation, Enterprise PMO, Business Transformation, or Corporate Strategy function.
• Strong understanding of technology governance, strategic planning, portfolio management, and organizational transformation.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives.
• Strong analytical, presentation, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, executive reporting, and business performance dashboards.
• Highly organized, commercially aware, and capable of managing multiple strategic priorities within a dynamic environment.
