CEO Chief of Staff / Director of Business Operations

Dubai, UAE | Full-time | Senior leadership role

BikeBox is a founder-led, multi-business company at an important stage of growth. We are looking for an exceptional problem-solver to work directly with the CEO and help turn ambition into consistent execution.

This is not an administrative Chief of Staff role, and it is not a role for someone who only manages meetings, prepares slides, or tracks tasks. We are looking for an operator: someone who can walk into a complex situation, work out what truly matters, bring the right people together, make progress through ambiguity, and ensure important work gets finished.

You will help build the operating rhythm of the business—clear priorities, accountable owners, useful KPIs, decisive meetings, and strong follow-through across our businesses and functions.

What you will do

• Partner closely with the CEO to turn strategic priorities into practical plans, decisions, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead and unblock high-priority cross-functional initiatives across commercial, operations, finance, brand, and people.
• Build a simple, effective management cadence: weekly execution reviews, monthly business reviews, and quarterly planning.
• Create visibility around performance, risks, dependencies, and decisions required.
• Help business leaders solve problems rather than simply report them.
• Challenge assumptions constructively, surface issues early, and make trade-offs clear.
• Strengthen accountability without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Ensure that decisions lead to action, actions have owners, and commitments do not quietly disappear.

Who we are looking for

You may have come from business operations, general management, transformation, strategy execution, consulting followed by operating experience, or a genuine Chief of Staff role. More important than your exact title, you will have a record of solving meaningful business problems in a fast-moving environment.

You are likely to be someone who:

• Is highly structured but practical; you make things simpler, not more complicated.
• Has strong commercial judgement and understands how decisions affect customers, revenue, margin, cash, and execution.
• Is comfortable working directly with a founder and navigating changing priorities without losing focus.
• Can influence experienced managers without relying on hierarchy or ego.
• Knows how to ask the right questions, find the underlying issue, and move a group toward a decision.
• Is equally comfortable with strategy and the detail required to make strategy real.
• Brings calm, discretion, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership.
• Has a bias toward action and completion.

What success will look like

Within your first year, BikeBox will have a clearer operating rhythm, stronger performance visibility, fewer unowned priorities, and better follow-through across the group. The CEO will spend less time chasing updates and more time making the decisions that only the CEO can make. Our leaders will have clearer priorities, better information, and a more reliable system for delivering results.
