Role Description The Chairman of the Executive Board is a full-time, hybrid position based in Dallas, TX, with flexibility for some work from home. The role oversees the strategic direction of the company, leads executive board meetings, and ensures that organizational goals align with long-term growth and innovation in AI research and deployment. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding senior leadership, reviewing and approving major initiatives, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and investors, and ensuring robust governance and risk management practices. The Chair also facilitates collaboration between research, engineering, and business teams to maintain the company’s standards of calibration-verified, production AI, and represents the organization in key external forums, partnerships, and industry events.
Qualifications
- Proven executive leadership experience, preferably as a board chair, board member, or C-level leader in technology or research-driven organizations.
- Strong background in corporate governance, strategic planning, and oversight of complex, innovation-focused initiatives.
- Understanding of AI, machine learning, or advanced software systems, with the ability to engage in informed discussions with technical and research teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with investors, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing leadership teams, drive accountability, and support an inclusive, ethical, and compliance-focused culture.
- Experience with scaling organizations, evaluating risk, and making data-informed decisions in fast-evolving markets.
- Advanced degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent leadership experience will be considered.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Dallas, TX, with regular on-site presence for board and executive activities.
