The Role & Your Impact
As Strategy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting executive and senior leadership with insights, analyses, and recommendations that shape Novonesis’ strategic choices. The role is strategic and cross‑functional, with exposure to senior stakeholders and high‑priority initiatives across the company.
In this role, you will:
- Drive structured analyses, insights, and recommendations to support executive and strategic decision‑making
- Ensure translation of corporate strategy into action and monitor progress, including identifying needs for strategic pivots when market realities change
- Lead and contribute to cross‑functional teams on complex, high‑impact strategic projects presented to senior and executive leadership
- Monitor external trends and competitive dynamics to identify implications for Novonesis’ strategic priorities
- Strengthen strategy capabilities across Corporate Strategy and the wider strategy community, contributing to a high‑performance environment
- Collaborate with external partners, including top‑tier management consulting firms, to ensure high‑quality, value‑adding outcomes
You are likely to have:
- An advanced degree in business, finance, economics, biotech/engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, strategic finance, or similar roles
- Experience contributing to or leading defined workstreams or projects
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive alignment
- Solid understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and their strategic implications
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a dynamic environment
- A pragmatic, results‑oriented mindset combined with the ability to build trust and followership
- Experience working in or with life sciences, biosolutions, or adjacent industries
- Exposure to executive‑level decision‑making environments
- Experience collaborating with external advisors or consulting partners
- International or cross‑cultural work experience
- Meaningful work with real impact on society and the planet
