VP, Value Creation (Finance)

Dartmouth Partners are retained in the search to find an Operating Team VP, to drive operational excellence across the portfolio at a fantastic mid-market Private Equity firm based in Charlotte, NC. This role is on-site in Charlotte and requires the individual to be based, or relocate to Charlotte. The position is designed with all elements of Value Creation support in mind; taking a hands on role in assisting PortCo CFO's and Finance teams with required upgrades, improvements, reporting and strategic insight.

This position, reporting into the CFO Operating Partner, will be the direct link between Investment Team and PortCo, helping both parties to reach efficiencies and translate operational ideas into genuine improvements across the Portfolio.

The position is ideally suited to the following backgrounds:

• Private Equity Investment Team Member - If you are sat in an Investment team role and seeking a longer term future away from investment seat into an operator seat (and likely keen to follow a path to CFO within a PortCo)
• Private Equity Operating Team Member - you may already be sat in an Operating Team and looking for a position with a more hands-on approach to your current value creation strategy
• FP&A Professional, within a PortCo - If you are a highly qualified FP&A professional, with a background of supporting excellence within a PE backed environment. Must be PE backed.
• TAS/FDD within Top 4 - If you have direct experience and exposure to middle-market PE backed organizations

• Portfolio Finance Partnership
• Financial Insights
• Finance Operations and Process Improvement
• Technology and Vendor Evaluation
• Interim & hands-on support to PortCo's
• Driving strategic value through CFO relationship to fund level

The role is based in Charlotte and requires individuals to be on-site, you must be located or able to relocate to the Charlotte, NC area.
