Company Description Aeva is advancing autonomy by delivering a next-generation perception platform used across automated driving, manufacturing automation, smart infrastructure, robotics, and consumer devices. Role Description The President role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Medellín Metropolitan Area. The President will provide strategic leadership, define long-term vision and growth priorities, and ensure alignment between product, engineering, operations, and commercial teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing business planning, financial performance, and resource allocation, while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and ethical conduct. The role will involve building and mentoring a senior leadership team, strengthening relationships with key customers, partners, and investors, and representing Aeva in external forums and industry events. The President will also guide market expansion efforts, ensure operational excellence, and drive initiatives that support Aeva’s mission of accelerating autonomy through its perception platform.
Qualifications

• Proven executive leadership experience, including setting vision, driving strategy, and managing senior teams in technology or high-growth companies.
• Strong background in business operations and finance, with demonstrated ability to manage budgets, scale organizations, and deliver sustainable growth.
• Experience in advanced hardware, sensors, automotive, robotics, or related fields, with familiarity in LiDAR, perception systems, or autonomy solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including working with customers, partners, boards, and investors.
• Track record of building inclusive, high-performing cultures, mentoring leaders, and leading change in dynamic environments.
• Ability to operate on-site in the Medellín Metropolitan Area and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent experience is advantageous.
• Experience in international markets and scaling products or platforms globally is a plus.
