Director of Operations

Director of Operations: Architect the engine that scales the vision.
Do you see the whole board while everyone else is staring at one square?
We're not looking for a caretaker of the status quo. We're looking for the operational force who turns a growing RIA into a firm that runs like it was built by someone who could see three years ahead, because you can.
Financial Life Advisors is on a clear trajectory: from where we are today toward $575M in AUM, 350+ households, a full office of advisors and specialists, and a Best Places to Work award that reflects how we actually operate. Getting there isn't about maintaining. It's about building. That's your game.
What you'll own:
You'll report directly to the CEO and lead our Senior Leadership Team, translating strategy into motion. You won't be handed a playbook; you'll write it. You'll set the priorities, define what "great" looks like across every seat, and hold the whole organization accountable to hitting it. Budgets, resource planning, vendor relationships, core processes, and the systems that scale a firm all fall to you. You govern them, and you're the one who decides what breaks and what gets rebuilt.
In practice, that means turning the firm's strategy into operational priorities and driving them through the leadership team, setting performance expectations, and reading the business through metrics before acting on them. You'll own operational budgeting, resource planning, and enterprise vendor relationships. You'll clear the barriers between where we are and where we're going. You'll govern and continuously sharpen the core processes and systems that let us grow without breaking. And you'll develop the next layer of operational leaders coming up behind you.
