Country Manager - (Fitness & Wellness)

We're hiring for a Country Manager to lead the business in Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and growing the company's presence in the market, building strategic partnerships, developing the local team, and ensuring the achievement of commercial and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's market-entry and growth strategy for Egypt.
• Take full responsibility for the country's commercial performance, revenue growth, profitability, and operational results.
• Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and potential B2B clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, suppliers, government entities, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead business development activities, including prospecting, negotiations, contract management, and partnership development.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and regulatory developments.
• Develop annual business plans, budgets, sales forecasts, and performance targets.
• Recruit, develop, and manage the local team while creating a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with the company's regional standards, policies, and brand values.
• Collaborate closely with the UAE regional leadership team and provide regular updates on performance, opportunities, challenges, and market developments.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking activities, conferences, and business meetings.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in general management, commercial leadership, business development, sales, or operations.
• Proven experience in launching, scaling, or managing a business, business unit, or country operation.
• Strong B2B commercial experience is highly preferred.
• Experience within the fitness, wellness, health, sports, hospitality, lifestyle, or related industries is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of the Egyptian market and established local business networks.
• Demonstrated experience in developing strategic partnerships and managing senior-level client relationships.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit-and-loss management.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to recruit, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, expanding business.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
