As Executive Director, Office of Social Impact, you will provide strategic leadership across policy, program delivery and stakeholder engagement while overseeing the delivery of the $20 million per annum Social Entrepreneurs Fund. Working at the intersection of government policy, investment, philanthropy and social enterprise, you will influence state-wide priorities, cultivate high-value partnerships and provide trusted advice to senior government decision-makers. In This Role, You Will
Lead strategy and program delivery:
- Lead the strategic direction and operational delivery of the Office of Social Impact and the design, implementation and ongoing success of the Social Entrepreneurs Fund.
- Drive the development and implementation of Queensland's social enterprise and impact investment roadmap.
- Establish and strengthen high-value partnerships across government, industry, philanthropy and the social enterprise sector.
- Represent Treasury at senior forums and influence collaborative approaches to complex social and economic challenges.
- Deliver trusted strategic advice to the Treasurer, Under Treasurer and senior executives on significant policy and investment matters.
- Lead a high-performing team and oversee governance, procurement and key stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional leadership capability with demonstrated success leading through complexity, consultation and change.
- Advanced political acumen and the ability to build credibility and influence at senior levels.
- Proven success establishing strategic relationships across the social enterprise, impact investing or comparable sectors.
- Strong experience leveraging partnerships to deliver coordinated, high-impact outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement and organisational performance.
- A strong track record delivering complex programs, achieving results and leading with integrity.
