This individual will serve as a strategic partner to the Principals while ensuring the seamless management of the family's investment entities, operating businesses, real estate holdings, household operations, and external advisors.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring exceptional judgment, discretion, organization, and the ability to operate effectively in a lean, fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight of the family office's financial operations, including consolidated financial reporting, treasury, liquidity management, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and internal controls across multiple entities and investment structures.
  • Coordinate tax planning, compliance, insurance, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management initiatives in partnership with outside advisors.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the family office, implementing scalable processes, maintaining corporate records, overseeing document management, and improving operational efficiencies.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for external service providers, including legal counsel, accounting firms, banks, investment professionals, insurance brokers, consultants, and auditors.
  • Oversee the administration of a diversified real estate portfolio by coordinating with property managers, lenders, vendors, and construction professionals while monitoring financial performance and capital improvement projects.
  • Support family governance initiatives, investment committee activities, board meetings, and philanthropic organizations, while helping execute long-term strategic priorities.
  • Provide oversight of residential estate operations, including property managers, house managers, household staff, maintenance personnel, and service providers to ensure exceptional property management and service standards.
  • Partner closely with the Principals on special projects, strategic planning initiatives, and confidential matters requiring sound business judgment and discretion.

Qualifications

  • 5-15+ years of progressive leadership experience within a Single Family Office, Multi-Family Office, private investment office, or complex private client environment.
  • Prior experience as a Chief Operating Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Managing Director, or similar executive leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of complex entity structures, trusts, partnerships, investment reporting, real estate operations, family governance, and philanthropic organizations.
  • Experience coordinating with sophisticated external advisors across legal, tax, accounting, banking, insurance, and investment management.
  • CPA or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred; MBA or JD is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead within a lean organization while remaining highly hands-on and execution focused.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship management skills with the ability to balance strategic oversight and day-to-day operational responsibilities.
