🚀 We're Hiring: Tech Hub Operational Lead | Porto, Portugal 🇵🇹

Are you an experienced technology leader passionate about building high-performing organisations and driving operational excellence?

We're looking for a Tech Hub Operational Lead to join a major international client in Porto, where you'll play a key role in shaping and leading a growing technology hub, driving delivery excellence, organisational transformation and capability development.

📍 Location: Porto, Portugal

What you'll do

As the Tech Hub Operational Lead, you will:

• Lead the operational delivery organisation of the Tech Hub.
• Drive collaboration across technology, delivery and operations teams.
• Develop and scale organisational capabilities.
• Translate strategic objectives into measurable operational initiatives.
• Oversee governance, KPI tracking and operational reporting.
• Promote delivery excellence and continuous improvement.
• Support the evolution of the Target Operating Model (TOM).
• Lead talent development, people management and succession planning.
• Partner with senior business and IT stakeholders to ensure successful execution of the Tech Hub strategy.

✅ What we're looking for

• 18+ years of experience in technology-driven organisations.
• Proven experience building or leading:
• Global Capability Centres (GCCs)
• Technology Hubs
• Digital Delivery Units
• Large-scale organisational or operating model transformations.
• Strong background in product-centric and platform-based delivery models.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technology, delivery and operations teams.
• Expertise in:
• Organisational design and scaling
• Capability development
• Performance management and KPI frameworks
• Senior stakeholder management
• Vendor and partner management.
• Good understanding of:
• Modern software engineering
• Cloud platforms
• Data-driven architectures
• Agile delivery (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
• Product vs Project operating models.
• Experience with automation and AI-enabled delivery models is considered a strong advantage.
• Fluent English (mandatory).

🌟 You'll stand out if you have

• SAFe certification (SA, SPC or equivalent)
• Agile Leadership certifications (ICP-ATF, ICP-ENT or similar)
• Experience implementing new ways of working at enterprise scale
• Strong coaching and people development mindset.
