Key Responsibilities
Support Day-to-Day Operations:
- Support the CGO's day-to-day workflow, including prioritization, meeting cadence, and decision tracking, and help manage communication across BD, marketing, government relations, and external partnership stakeholders.
- Assist translating strategy into execution plans with clear owners and deadlines.
- Prepare briefing materials, leadership readouts, and board-level updates.
- Run recurring reviews of growth org priorities and flag risks before they escalate.
- Coordinate across Growth Team functional areas, including Business Development, Government Relations, and Strategic Communications.
- Proactively identify information needs and prepare high-quality briefings that support timely action across the spectrum of the CGO’s portfolio.
- Track and prioritize timelines across Growth team leads.
- Compile materials for customer and partner meetings.
- Develop and deliver status reports, briefing documents, and strategic communication.
- Serve as the connective tissue between the Growth org and Engineering, Programs, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
- Represent the CGO in meetings as needed and summarize actionable items.
- Manage special projects at the CGO's direction.
- Audit and improve key functions and processes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in a chief of staff or executive support role, ideally at a startup or in defense/government technology. Experience with government contracting, business development, or government relations is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable drafting for executives and external stakeholders
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
- Highly organized with strong follow-through across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Clearance: Must be eligible for SECRET clearance or above; active clearance a plus.
- Military, government, or defense sector experience a plus.
- Full-time position based in Bristol, RI.
- Travel required periodically for customer, government, and industry engagements.
