Head of Business Strategy & Company Transformation
Position Summary
The Head of Business Strategy & Company Transformation is responsible for driving the company's long-term strategic direction and leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This role partners closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to identify growth opportunities, improve organizational performance, and execute strategic projects that enhance operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities, leading cross-functional transformation programs while ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Strategy & New Business Expansion
- Develop and execute the company's long-term corporate strategy, leading the annual strategic planning process to align business objectives with sustainable growth.
- Conduct market, industry, competitor, and customer analysis to identify strategic opportunities, emerging trends, and potential risks that support executive decision-making.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute business expansion opportunities, including new markets, new business models, and new revenue streams both domestically and internationally.
- Lead strategic initiatives including market entry, business case development, feasibility studies, strategic partnerships
Business Transformation
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, including organizational, operational, and digital transformation.
- Design and execute transformation roadmaps to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Drive business process optimization and organizational redesign.
- Establish governance structures to monitor transformation progress and benefits realization.
- Manage change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption across the organization.
Business Excellence & Process Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across functions.
- Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Operational Excellence methodologies where applicable.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with CEO, CFO, COO, and business leaders.
- Present strategic recommendations to executive management and Board members.
- Lead cross-functional project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Corporate Planning, Management Consulting, Corporate Development, or other strategic leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading corporate strategy, business expansion, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
- Strong experience in evaluating new business opportunities, market entry strategies, strategic partnerships, or investment projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with C-suite executives, Board members, and senior stakeholders, with the executive presence to influence strategic decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical, financial modeling, and business case development skills.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Fluent in Thai & English.
