Key Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio strategy across key markets spanning the International Markets Group, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and Ford's global enterprise strategy.
- Drive segment "chessboard" analysis to identify emerging market opportunities, competitive threats, and white-space segments, informing where and how Ford should compete.
- Lead comprehensive portfolio studies, factoring in complex variables and constraints—including regulatory environments, powertrain mix, capital allocation, and market-specific demand—while partnering closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Manufacturing, Product Development, and Finance.
- Develop robust business cases that quantify the financial, operational, and strategic implications of portfolio recommendations.
- Present recommendations to senior leadership with compelling storytelling, clear communication, and a data-driven narrative that enables confident decision-making.
- Manage strategy resources and budget across multiple concurrent studies, ensuring workstreams progress on schedule and deliver the insights required to support critical portfolio decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Significant experience in strategy, portfolio planning, product strategy, management consulting, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global or multi-market environment
- Strong financial acumen and experience building business cases and investment recommendations
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with proven ability to influence senior executives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear, actionable insights
- MBA or advanced degree
- Automotive industry experience, particularly in product or portfolio planning
- Experience working across emerging and international markets
- Experience leading and developing teams, and managing budgets and resources
