This company builds AI agents that help patients get access to life-saving therapies. Think prior authorizations, appeals, reimbursement research, coverage determination... all the administrative work that normally stands between a patient and treatment, now automated. The agents already process billions of dollars in therapies every year, supporting patients in all 50 states.

You'd step in as Chief of Staff to the CEO and co-founder. This is a real seat on the leadership team, not a support role. You're the person who turns strategy into execution and keeps a fast-growing company pointed at what actually matters.

The company grew out of the Stanford AI Lab and pairs cutting-edge AI with real healthcare expertise to tackle one of the industry's biggest operational headaches: getting patients the care they need, faster. It partners with leading healthcare organizations to cut administrative burden and speed up access to treatment at scale.

Backers include Altos Ventures, Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Telesoft Partners, and execs from Google and Salesforce. Revenue has grown quickly over the past year, and the company's footprint keeps expanding across specialty healthcare markets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Drive strategy and planning. Work with the founding team to shape and operationalize company strategy. Lead quarterly and annual planning, including goal setting, prioritization, resource allocation, KPIs, budgeting, and headcount. Be a real thought partner to the CEO on the decisions that matter most.

Own the operating cadence. Design and run leadership meetings, strategic reviews, roadmap reviews, all-hands, and planning sessions. Build the agendas, keep discussions on track, document what gets decided, and make sure things actually get followed through on.

Give the leadership team leverage. Take work off the CEO's plate and drive it to the finish line yourself. Prep the team for board meetings, investor conversations, and important customer engagements. Lead the board materials, investor updates, and executive communications. Spot problems early enough that they never need to escalate.

Lead cross-functional execution. Own the high-impact initiatives that don't have a natural home in the org chart. Build the systems and frameworks that let the company keep scaling without breaking.

Strengthen the organization. Partner with functional leaders on team effectiveness, culture, and change management. Over time, build and lead a small, highly leveraged Business Operations team.

WHAT GETS YOU HIRED

You've got 3+ years in strategy, business operations, management consulting, investing, operating leadership, or a Chief of Staff type role. You've worked closely with senior executives and leadership teams before, and you know how to think strategically while still getting your hands dirty in the day to day. You manage complex, cross-functional projects well, you write and speak clearly, and you can be trusted with sensitive information and left to use good judgment on your own. You're comfortable with metrics, planning processes, and business performance data.

Nice to have

Time at an early-stage, high-growth AI-native startup. A background in consulting, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking. Experience standing up processes and operating rhythms from scratch at an early-stage company. A track record as a trusted advisor to founders or senior leaders.
