About the Role:

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness to lead a core office within the Academy that ensures robust planning, quality, and performance systems across our operations. The role is central to embedding accountability, continuous improvement, and alignment with national priorities across the Academy.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Strategic Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness Office and its three sections:
  1. Strategy & Institutional Effectiveness – oversee strategic planning, alignment with the Academy’s mandate, and performance frameworks.
  2. Quality & Data – manage quality assurance, accreditation processes, and institutional data systems that drive decision-making.
  3. Project Management – ensure effective governance, planning, and delivery of projects across the Academy.
  • Ensure that the office operates in line with institutional effectiveness models seen in leading academic institutions, serving as the backbone for planning, performance, and institutional accountability at the Academy.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track institutional performance and support leadership decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and alignment with national regulatory and policy frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence across the Academy.
  • Provide structured reporting and analysis on Academy performance and progress against strategic objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, education management, strategic planning, or a related field (master’s preferred).
  • 9–11 years of professional experience in strategy, institutional effectiveness, quality assurance, or performance management.
  • Experience in universities, academies, or government-related educational institutions is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex institutional processes.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English with strong analytical and communication skills.
