Section Head - Strategic Planning and Studies (UAE National)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and periodic update of the Fund’s strategic plan in alignment with its vision, government directions, and economic priorities.
• Oversee the formulation of strategic objectives and ensure their linkage to measurable KPIs and institutional performance targets.
• Supervise strategic analyses, benchmarking, and internal and external environmental studies to ensure alignment with global best practices and organizational changes.
• Facilitate strategic workshops and coordination meetings to support stakeholder engagement and informed strategic decision‑making.
• Lead gap analysis between strategic plans and actual performance, and direct teams to develop corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the review and execution of institutional plans, initiatives, and strategic projects to enhance organizational performance.
• Monitor strategic project budget alignment with approved priorities and provide recommendations accordingly.
• Lead the preparation and monitoring of the annual operational plan in coordination with relevant government entities.
• Track strategic plan implementation, prepare periodic progress and analytical reports, and recommend actions to address risks or deviations.
• Develop and maintain a unified strategic planning framework to ensure consistency and integration across the organization.
• Ensure alignment between strategic plans and operational processes through effective coordination with internal departments.
• Manage, guide, and evaluate staff performance, ensure effective workload distribution, and support capability development.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Project Management, or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent (preferred).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Certified Strategic Planner (CSP), or equivalent (preferred).
• Proven managerial and supervisory experience in institutional strategic planning and strategy development.
• Demonstrated experience in developing corporate strategies, annual operational plans, and budgets.
