For our continued growth, we are looking for an Executive Chef for our venue Stockholmsmässan (m/f/d).
Your Responsibilities:
- Conceptualising, designing and executing diverse and creative menus tailored to each event
- Ensuring all culinary offerings meet high standards of taste, presentation and quality, in line with dietary, cultural and sustainability requirements
- Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring seamless workflow and the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
- Leading, inspiring and mentoring a team of approx. 5–7 permanent kitchen staff plus event-dependent support
- Sourcing and managing supplier relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective ingredients
- Implementing effective cost control measures and contributing to budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis
- Collaborating closely with event planners and organisers to align culinary offerings with event themes and logistics
- Introducing new and creative culinary concepts, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
Your Profile:
- Extensive and proven experience in culinary arts, with a focus on large-scale event catering
- Exceptional culinary skills with a demonstrated ability to create diverse and innovative menus
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse culinary team
- Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control and profitability analysis
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers and stakeholders
- Strategic thinking, adaptability and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in alignment with event schedules
- Native-level Swedish and fluent English
