Role Description The Kitchen Manager at Lynora’s is a full-time, on-site role based in West Palm Beach, FL. This position oversees daily kitchen operations, including supervising kitchen staff, coordinating food preparation and cooking, and ensuring dishes meet the restaurant’s quality and presentation standards. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for maintaining food safety and sanitation practices, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and supporting menu execution during high-volume service. The role also involves training team members, monitoring kitchen efficiency, collaborating with front-of-house leadership, and helping maintain a positive, professional work environment.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with the ability to lead a busy kitchen and produce consistent, high-quality dishes.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage operations, including coordination with front-of-house staff and support of overall restaurant service.
  • Knowledge of Food Quality standards and food safety regulations, with a focus on sanitation, portion control, and product freshness.
  • Culinary Management experience, including team supervision, scheduling, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
  • Culinary training or certification is preferred but not required; a passion for Italian cuisine is a plus.
