Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of menu planning and recipe development
- Manage and mentor the kitchen staff, ensuring that all team members adhere to DHGC's culinary standards
- Manage the employee meal program and ensure high quality standards are being met
- Oversee banquet culinary preparation.
- Manage the pool kitchen and golf house grill during open season
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Assist with monitoring food and labor costs to ensure budgets are being met
- Manage and maintain kitchen equipment through cleaning programs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- 6 -8 years of culinary management experience is required
- Experience managing in a hotel or country club kitchen is required
- ServSafe certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Culinary degree preferred, but not required
