We are looking for the Technical Manager Taste & Wellbeing Germany to lead our technical teams and shape how our customers experience taste, perform and progress in one of our main markets.

As Head of Flavour Creation & Application, you will lead our Creation and Application teams, combining technical expertise with customer and commercial impact.

Reporting to the Commercial Director Germany, you will be an important member of the local leadership team and help shape strategy and capability development.

You will be based in Dortmund, a vibrant city that blends industrial heritage with innovation, perfectly reflecting the spirit of Givaudan, which combines tradition and forward-thinking.

In This Exciting Role, You Will

• Lead diverse Creation & Application teams, promoting excellence, engagement, and collaboration
• Translate customer needs and market insights into commercially successful flavor solutions
• Partner with Commercial, R&D, and regional teams to deliver unique customer value
• Guide technical innovation, renewal, and capability building across Germany
• Be a senior technical ambassador with customers, combining expertise with trust and insight
• Build a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and people development

Your Professional Profile Includes

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar senior technical leadership role in the Food industry
• Experience leading technical or application teams in flavors, food ingredients, or a comparable industry
• Passionate about innovation, genuine curiosity, and commitment to developing people and creating meaningful change
• Enthusiastic about strategical work and passionate to convert technical expertise to customer impact and business growth
• Business fluent in both German and English, with the ability to engage diverse teams and clients
