About the Role

The Executive Chef owns menu planning, kitchen execution, and food quality in a high-volume industrial catering setup. The role covers food safety, food cost control, recipe consistency, and timely service delivery. The chef works closely with Operations and Stores to keep production on track and improve site-level customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own menu planning and costing to keep food offerings aligned with the operating plan, customer expectations, and budget discipline.
  • Protect food safety and QHSE compliance across every production session.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Stores to control food cost and maintain stock availability.
  • Manage recipe standards so quality, consistency, and portion control stay repeatable.
  • Ensure timely food delivery through clear task delegation and production discipline.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment readiness and cleanliness to avoid disruption.
  • Improve the menu and use diner feedback to strengthen customer delight.


Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong industrial catering experience with high-volume execution and commercial control.
  • Knowledge of menu planning, recipe standardization, food costing, and production planning.
  • Practical understanding of food safety, QHSE, and safe kitchen operations.
  • Hands-on experience with modern kitchen equipment, including induction and electrical systems.
  • Ability to lead cooks through clear delegation, training, and execution standards.
  • Working knowledge of stock management and store coordination.


Additional Plus

  • Exposure to diner feedback loops.
  • Experience improving kitchen systems and tracking.
  • Prior food cost control responsibility is a plus.
