About the Role:-

We are seeking an experienced SCCM Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be the technical expert responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) environment. You will possess deep hands-on experience with Operating System Deployment (OSD), complex troubleshooting, and a strong understanding of modern management principles, including Microsoft Intune and co-management. You will also be responsible for application packaging and deployment, ensuring a seamless experience for our end-users.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Operating System Deployment (OSD)

• Design, build, and maintain Windows 10/11 operating system images, including the creation and management of gold images .
• Build, test, and deploy complex task sequences for both in-place upgrades and bare-metal imaging.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot PXE boot, multicast, and driver injection issues .
• Deploy OS images using SCCM
• Manage Windows 11 readiness projects and device upgrades.

2. SCCM & Intune Administration

• Perform regular health checks, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SCCM components .
• Manage and maintain SCCM client health, proactively remediating client-related issues .
• Administer and configure Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, compliance policies, and configuration profiles for Windows, iOS, and Android devices .
• Implement and manage co-management scenarios between SCCM and Intune, including workload shifting .

3. Application Packaging & Deployment

• Build, test, and deploy applications and packages for Windows using a variety of formats, including MSI, EXE, AppX, and PowerShell scripts .
• Create and manage application dependencies, supersedence rules, and detection methods .
• Package applications using the Intune WinAppUtil for deployment via Microsoft Intune .
• Manage the complete software lifecycle, including versioning, application supersedence, retirement, and maintenance of an application catalogue .

4. Troubleshooting & Support

• Provide Tier 3 support for complex SCCM, Intune, and OSD-related escalations .
• Analyze SCCM logs (e.g., AppEnforce.log, SMSTS.log, CAS.log) to diagnose and resolve deployment and client health issues .
• Troubleshoot software distribution failures, task sequence errors, PXE issues, and Intune enrollment problems .
• Investigate and resolve policy conflicts in a hybrid SCCM–Intune environment .

5. Patch Management & Reporting

• Manage the end-to-end patching lifecycle for servers and workstations using SCCM Software Updates and Windows Update for Business (WUfB) policies in Intune .
• Build and manage Automatic Deployment Rules (ADRs), software update groups, and deployment packages.
• Create and maintain patching compliance dashboards and produce detailed reports using SSRS, Power BI, or CMPivot .
• Manage third-party patch integration (e.g., using SCUP) where applicable.

6. Automation & Security

• Author and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and improve efficiency .
• Implement and enforce endpoint security policies, such as BitLocker encryption and Windows Defender policies, via Intune and SCCM .
• Ensure endpoint configurations are aligned with security and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Skills:-

• Experience: 10+ years of extensive, hands-on experience in administering SCCM/MECM (Current Branch) in a large enterprise environment .
• OSD Expertise: Proven, in-depth experience with Operating System Deployment, including task sequence design, driver management, and troubleshooting.
• Intune Knowledge: Solid experience with Microsoft Intune, particularly in device compliance, configuration profiles, app deployment, and co-management.
• Packaging Skills: Strong experience in application packaging for SCCM and Intune (.intunewin) using standard tools.
• Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Azure AD, SQL Server, and networking fundamentals .
• Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell for automation .
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication abilities; proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities .

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with Windows Autopilot .
• Knowledge of Graph API and Proactive Remediations .
• Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation .
• Experience with third-party patching solutions .
