About the Role

Japan Remit Finance Co., Ltd. is a licensed international money transfer company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable, and available for daily business operations. You'll work with servers, networks, cloud services, and security while supporting the technology that powers our growing financial services business.

What You'll Do

As an IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer, you will:

• Manage and maintain the company's server infrastructure hosted on Sakura Internet.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure stable business operations.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Maintain network infrastructure, VPN connections, firewalls, and security controls.
• Manage domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and server configurations.
• Support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and user account administration.
• Work with vendors and service providers to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Provide technical support for internal IT systems and office infrastructure.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance, security, and reliability.
• Support additional IT infrastructure and technology projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has:

• At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering.
• Professional proficiency in Japanese and English.
• Experience managing Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Good knowledge of networking, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and server security.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and system monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• The ability to work independently and collaborate with different teams.

Preferred Qualifications

It would be an advantage if you have experience with:

• Sakura Internet or other cloud hosting platforms.
• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
• Cybersecurity and infrastructure hardening.
• Financial services, banking, fintech, or payment systems.
