Role: Senior Systems Engineer

Salary : $100,000

A growing MSP based near Tampa International Airport is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team.

What you'll do:

• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues across client environments
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms
• Lead cloud migrations and manage Microsoft 365/Azure environments
• Configure and maintain networking, firewalls, and security infrastructure
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Lead client-facing infrastructure projects from scoping through delivery
• Maintain documentation and drive process improvements across the team

What we're looking for:

• 7+ years of experience in systems/infrastructure engineering, ideally within an MSP or IT services environment
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) expertise
• Deep Microsoft 365/Azure administration experience
• Solid networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN)
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco) a plus
• Proven track record mentoring or leading junior engineers
• Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset
