We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Technology Operations Analyst to join our Technology Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technology professional to play a key role in supporting, maintaining and enhancing the firm's technology estate while contributing to strategic technology and cyber security initiatives.

Working closely with colleagues across Technology Operations and the Security Operations Centre (SOC), you will provide senior technical expertise, support business-critical platforms, lead technical problem resolution, and help ensure the availability, security and performance of systems across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, major incidents and service requests.
  • Support and maintain the firm's Microsoft-centric technology estate, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Entra ID, Intune and endpoint platforms.
  • Manage infrastructure services including networking, telephony, identity, cloud services, virtualisation and end-user computing.
  • Monitor system performance, availability and capacity, ensuring business-critical services remain resilient and reliable.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, technology deployments and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive automation, standardisation and process optimisation across operational support activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, standards and knowledge articles.
  • Ensure incidents, requests, changes and problems are managed in line with agreed service management processes and SLAs.
  • Mentor and support Technology Analysts, helping develop technical capability and operational maturity across the team.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry best practice and cyber security developments.

Working Alongside the Security Operations Centre:

  • Support the investigation, containment and remediation of cyber security incidents.
  • Assist with vulnerability management activities, including identification, prioritisation, remediation and reporting.
  • Review and escalate security alerts in accordance with established operational procedures.
  • Support endpoint, email, cloud and identity security controls.
  • Assist in implementing recommendations arising from audits, penetration tests, security reviews and incident investigations.
  • Work collaboratively with SOC Analysts to improve security monitoring, detection, response and recovery capabilities.
  • Support cyber security awareness initiatives and the promotion of secure working practices across the firm.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with security reporting, operational metrics and compliance activities where required.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience within a Technology Operations, Infrastructure or Senior Technical Support role.
  • Strong technical expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID and Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience supporting enterprise networking technologies including LAN, WAN and wireless infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of virtualisation platforms and modern cloud technologies.
  • Experience managing endpoint technologies, patching, resilience, backup and recovery processes.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles, including vulnerability management, endpoint protection, identity security and secure configuration.
  • Experience working within structured service management environments and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads and work independently when required.
  • Strong team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach.

This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading professional services businesses at a time of continued growth and investment in technology.

You'll work alongside talented technology and cyber security professionals, gain exposure to enterprise-scale technologies, and play a key role in delivering secure, reliable and innovative services to the business.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, modern working environments and genuine opportunities for professional development and career progression.
