How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Sound knowledge in backup tools like Commvault, and Microsoft Azure with minimum 12-15+ years’ experience in Commvault backup policies, and disaster recovery methodologies.
- Manage the Backup environment for all projects within Teva incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all incidents /requests to ensure data compliance and success rates.
- Provide Tier 3 support for backup server related issues.
- Proficiency with Unix/Linux/Windows systems, VMware, and network storage (SAN/NAS).
- Work in shifts and weekends as per the work requirements (on-call duty)
- Provides direct technical support in Troubleshooting and implementing, the solution for global infrastructure.
- Strong experience in Commvault performing backup, recovery, troubleshooting, performing proactive maintenance and optimizing performance.
- Experience in Perform daily backup routine maintenance, Add clients, configure Backup agent on clients, has the capability to provide guidance and also handle escalations.
- Strict Adherence to use of the ticketing system for All incidents, changes and problem management.
- Work closely and collaborate with teams and should be team player.
- Should possess good Communication Skills in English.
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related degree
- 12-15+ years in Infrastructure – various domains (Operations, Networking, Data Center, Compute, Backup or Databases)
- Certification in Commvault and Pharmaceuticals industry experience and knowledge a plus.
- Infrastructure architecture – developing full high-level and detailed design
- Work in a changing and dynamic environment
- Should be team player
