Principal Site Reliability Engineer-AWS

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our engineering team. As a SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure and services. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to build and maintain robust systems that support our growing platform.

Key Responsibilities

1,Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS.

2,Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and monitoring processes.

3,Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

4,Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

5,Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and postmortems.

6,Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in system architecture and deployment.

7,Drive incident response and on-call rotations to maintain high service uptime.

8,Continuously improve system reliability, observability, and automation.

Required Qualifications

1,Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2, 8+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, etc.).

3,Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

4,Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

5,Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.

6,Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.

Preferred Qualifications

7,AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).

8,Experience with multi-region, high-availability architectures.

9, Knowledge of compliance and security best practices in cloud environments.
