We are looking for an experienced CI/CD engineer with substantial hands-on expertise to establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines within a private on-premises cloud environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation and a proven history of successfully implementing and managing software deployment processes for enterprise-level applications, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Framework Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, or similar for deploying Web Applications, Android, and iOS.
- Oversee the integration of CI/CD pipelines with application servers (Red Hat OpenShift) and database servers (Oracle DB).
- Ensure effective version control, automated testing, and smooth software delivery processes.
- Deployment and Operations:
- Manage the software deployment lifecycle for both custom-built applications and commercial off-the-shelf solutions.
- Collaborate with the CI/CD team to deploy, configure, and operate applications on Nginx, MuleSoft API Gateway, Red Hat Directory Server, Red Hat Single Sign-On (RHSSO), Solace, and OpenShift or equivalent Kubernetes systems.
- Infrastructure and Tool Integration:
- Facilitate seamless integration with private cloud infrastructure while focusing on tools like MuleSoft, CyberArk, HashiCorp, and EFK Logging.
- Utilize Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security measures throughout the CI/CD process.
- Integrate security tools such as CyberArk, Splunk, and HashiCorp Vault to safeguard sensitive credentials and data.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor the performance of CI/CD pipelines and application deployments to identify bottlenecks or failures.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during build, testing, or deployment phases.
- Collaboration:
- Support Application Teams, Testing Teams, and Deployment efforts by ensuring seamless version control as well as environment setup.
Qualifications Required:
Experience:
- Mandatory:
- A minimum of 3 years in DevOps or related technical roles.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in establishing and managing CI/CD frameworks in enterprise settings.
- Proven experience deploying applications in cloud environments.
- Desirable:
- Experience in highly regulated industries that require strict adherence to security compliance standards.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in:
- Bitbucket for version control management.
- SonarQube for source code analysis.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Deploying applications on Red Hat OpenShift with Oracle Database environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as:
- Nginx
- MuleSoft
- Solace
- Red Hat Directory Server
- RHSSO
- Knowledge of security tools is advantageous:
- CyberArk
- HashiCorp Vault
- Splunk
Soft Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities along with strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is required.
- Certifications in DevOps practices or technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes or relevant security tools are preferred.
