What you'll do:

1. As a hands-on technical contributor responsible for cloud security architecture planning and operation.

2. Operate Cloud Native security functions such as perimeter controls between environments, VPC-Service Controls, resource configuration enforcement, custom cloud configuration assessments.

3. Create, tune, and enforce Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies

4. Continuously evaluate and adapt ingress security policies based on the evolving threat landscape

5. Assess and manage protection strategies during active cyber-attacks

6. Collaborate with network and site reliability teams to secure all ingress points

7. Collaborate with various stakeholders to build processes and procedures to ensure corporate policies are enforced.

8. Serve as a backup to support daily monitoring and response.

What you'll bring:

1. Strong hands-on experience with Firewall, Web Application Firewall (WAF) management and DDoS mitigation strategies.

2. Strong knowledge of network and web protocols such as TCP/IP, IPSec, HTTPS, and SSL

3. Experience with fingerprinting and behavioral data collection

4. Proficiency with log management tools such as Splunk, Kibana, ArcSight or other open-source solutions

5. Strong scripting skills in at least one language

6. Familiarity with cloud platforms including major domestic cloud platforms (e.g., Tencent, Ali, Bytedance)

7. A collaborative spirit with a proactive and self-driven attitude

8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a large organization.

9. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications in Security+, Network+, GISF, GSEC, CISSP, CCSP, or GCIH,

2. Bachelor’s degree in information security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related area and at least 6 years’ experience of leading/ working on Information Security / Cyber Security Projects

3. Cloud Network Security, CFW, WAF, FW, DDoS
