The Challenge
We are seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer II with a focus on platform and monitoring systems to support and optimize our enterprise data pipeline and monitoring infrastructure. In this role, you will be a key administrator for a powerful suite of tools—Splunk, Cribl, Datadog, and Grafana—ensuring data flows efficiently and users have the access they need.
What You’ll Take On
- Platform & User Management: Act as a primary administrator for our monitoring ecosystem, handling user onboarding, access controls, permissions, and group management across Splunk, Datadog, Cribl, and Grafana.
- Data Pipeline Configuration: Use Cribl and other tools to stream, route, and filter log data. When necessary, apply JavaScript to transform and reshape data payloads as they move through the pipeline.
- Querying & Dashboarding: Write SQL and platform-specific query languages to build reliable alerts, monitor data integrity, and create impactful dashboards.
- System Administration: Use the Linux command line (CLI) to troubleshoot agents, manage configurations, and handle day-to-day platform maintenance.
- Cross-Functional Support: Partner with internal teams to ensure their logging and metrics needs are met, assisting them with onboarding data sources and troubleshooting platform issues.
- 3+ years of experience administering enterprise software platforms, monitoring tools, or data systems.
- Solid, hands-on experience with at least two of our primary platforms: Splunk, Cribl, Datadog, or Grafana.
- Comfortable navigating the command line (CLI), with SQL proficiency and a working knowledge of using scripting languages for data manipulation.
- Experience managing user roles, permissions (RBAC), and access policies within SaaS or enterprise environments.
- Great Company Culture. Ranked as one of the most creative and innovative places to work, creativity, innovation, efficiency, diversity and philanthropy are among the core tenets of our organization and are integral drivers of our continued success.
- Growth: As a global entertainment company, we pride ourselves on creating environments where employees are encouraged to be themselves, inquisitive, collaborative and to grow within and around the company.
- Work Hard, Play Hard. Our employees bond, blow-off steam, and flex some creative muscles – through corporate boot camp classes, company parties, game release events, monthly socials, and team challenges.
- Benefits. Medical (HSA & FSA), dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, commuter benefits, in-house wellness program, broad learning & development opportunities, a charitable giving platform with company match and more!
- Perks. Fitness allowance, employee discount programs, free games & events and stocked pantries.
