We're hiring a Linux Systems Engineer to support mission-critical enterprise software used by
customers who depend on uptime. This is a hands-on production support role where you'll
troubleshoot live Linux environments, investigate complex issues, work closely with engineering
teams, and keep critical systems running.
This isn't a help desk position, and it isn't a pure DevOps role. We're looking for someone who
enjoys digging into problems, working from the Linux command line, and owning issues through
resolution.
What You'll Be Doing
● Troubleshoot production Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
● Investigate application, OS, and infrastructure issues
● Analyze logs and perform root cause analysis
● Support VMware and cloud-based environments
● Perform patching, upgrades, and system maintenance
● Collaborate with developers, customers, and internal engineering teams
● Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (additional compensation provided)
What We're Looking For
● Strong Linux administration and command-line troubleshooting experience
● Experience supporting production systems in a 24/7 environment
● VMware experience
● Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH)
● Experience with Bash, Ansible, or other automation tools is a plus
● SIP/VoIP experience is helpful but not required
