As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and resolving complex problems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted system operations. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple system components, collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist in the implementation of system updates and patches to enhance performance and security.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
• Experience with managing virtual environments, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines.
• Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, resource allocation, and performance tuning.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual infrastructure and associated hardware.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to ensure optimal system health and availability.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
• This position is based at our Gurugram office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
