System Engineer (Infrastructure & Cloud Support)

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled System Engineer to manage and support our IT infrastructure, servers, networking systems, and cloud environments. The candidate should have hands-on experience in server administration, hardware troubleshooting, networking, monitoring, and basic cloud & DevOps operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
• Monitor server health, storage, CPU, memory utilization, and uptime.
• Configure and maintain networking devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
• Handle user access management, permissions, and security policies.
• Support cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure including EC2, VPC, storage, IAM, and backup services.
• Assist in deployment and maintenance of applications across environments.
• Support CI/CD deployment processes and automation workflows.
• Configure and maintain Docker containers and basic Kubernetes environments.
• Manage SSL certificates, domains, email configurations, and reverse proxies.
• Troubleshoot hardware, networking, server, and application-level issues.
• Ensure regular backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance.
• Perform patch management, antivirus updates, and vulnerability monitoring.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with development teams for infrastructure and deployment requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Linux system administration.
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, VPN, Firewall, Routing).
• Experience with server hardware, RAID, virtualization, and storage systems.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Ability to troubleshoot production infrastructure issues independently.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Nginx, Apache, Kafka, or load balancers.
• Understanding of security best practices and IAM policies.
• Exposure to high-availability and scalable infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL administration is a plus.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in System Administration / Infrastructure Support / Cloud Operations.
