Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise S3-compatible object storage platforms.
  • Administer Dell EMC ECS, NetApp StorageGRID, or similar object storage solutions.
  • Configure lifecycle (ILM) policies, bucket policies, versioning, replication, and retention.
  • Optimize storage performance, scalability, and capacity utilization.
  • Implement encryption, access controls, and security best practices.
  • Perform storage provisioning, upgrades, migrations, and health monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot production storage issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Automate storage administration using Python, Shell, or Ansible.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and data protection initiatives.
  • Prepare operational documentation and storage usage reports.
