Senior Linux Administrator

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:

• Managing and resolving daily incidents and service requests related to Linux systems;
• Performing routine system administration tasks, including updates, patching, and monitoring;
• Supporting server maintenance, backups, and performance optimization;
• Contributing to the documentation of procedures, changes, and configurations;
• Assisting with the deployment and configuration of new Linux-based services or infrastructure;
• Escalating complex issues in line with internal escalation procedures.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
• 5+ years of proven experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar);
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and service request management;
• Solid knowledge of system updates, patch management, monitoring, and performance tuning;
• Experience with server maintenance, backup strategies, and disaster recovery;
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, ..);
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar);
• Ability to document processes, procedures, and configurations clearly;
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
