We are seeking a Red Hat Systems Administrator to support Linux administration, enterprise logging, and infrastructure automation initiatives in a multi-platform environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining RHEL systems, developing Ansible automation, managing GitHub repositories, and validating log ingestion through Splunk.
Responsibilities
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Ansible playbooks and automation workflows. Deploy and support enterprise logging solutions using rsyslog, syslog-ng, and related technologies. Validate log forwarding and ingestion using Splunk.
• Manage configuration files, scripts, and deployment artifacts in GitHub.
• Support both Linux and Windows environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
• Experience with enterprise logging solutions and centralized logging architectures.
• Experience with Splunk, GitHub, and Windows administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred
• RHCSA or RHCE certification.
• Experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Compensation:
$40/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
