DevOps Engineer (Mandarin)

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Container Orchestration

• Provision, configure, and maintain highly available server environments across both Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Administer and fine-tune middleware platforms, web servers (Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, IIS), and Message Queue systems to ensure optimal application performance.
• Provide entry-level database administration and operational support for MySQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL.

CI/CD, Automation & Scripting

• Design, enforce, and maintain comprehensive CI/CD rules and workflows for secure and seamless change releases.
• Utilize modern DevOps and DevSecOps toolchains to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation and operational scripts utilizing Python or Go to reduce manual overhead.

Data Protection, Monitoring & SAP Support

• Configure and manage enterprise monitoring and observability platforms, including Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Administer enterprise backup solutions using Veritas NetBackup or CommVault software.
• Execute critical data protection routines, specifically performing monthly SAP backup operations in strict accordance with standardized operational guides.

Microsoft Ecosystem & Identity Management

• Manage and configure core Microsoft infrastructure and identity services, including Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), Azure AD (AAD), and ADFS.
• Administer enterprise network fundamentals such as DNS and DHCP.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange (Mail), Microsoft Teams, email gateways, and OneDrive.
• Deploy and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and related remote workspace services.

Network Operations

• Leverage basic networking fundamentals to perform routine system checks, troubleshooting, and diagnostics by following established networking operational guides.

Profile

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in IT, Software Engineering or similar field of study.
• Deep familiarity with Linux and Windows administration.
• DevOps/Cloud: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps tools.
• Python or Go.
• Web/Middleware: Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, IIS, Message Queues.
• Data/Monitoring: MySQL/MSSQL/PostgreSQL, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, NetBackup, CommVault.
• Enterprise IT: Strong Microsoft stack experience (M365, Azure AD, AVD, DNS/DHCP).
• Language: English, Mandarin
