- Install and configure operating systems
- Perform server build, deployment, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot OS-level issues independently
- Analyze application issues from server perspective
- Perform in-place and parallel server upgrades
- Manage server hardening and configuration
- Handle performance troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot boot issues, file system issues, service failures
- Monitor logs and system health
- Support production incidents and critical escalations
- Perform root cause analysis
- Work with application, database, and network teams
