I’m hiring for a Release & Configuration Technician to join a market-leading technology business.

This role would suit someone with experience or exposure across software releases, deployment, configuration, technical troubleshooting, CI/CD, Git, Windows/Linux environments, SQL Server, and SLA-driven support.

You’ll be supporting the business with the release of software to customers, helping maintain hosted, internal and cloud systems, troubleshooting installation/configuration issues, and working closely with Support, Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure release readiness.

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinating software release cycles across customer platforms

• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

• Troubleshooting installation and configuration issues

• Maintaining test environments and deployment testing setups

• Managing Windows, Linux and SQL Server environments

• Monitoring hosted, internal and cloud solutions

• Maintaining configuration records and technical documentation

• Following change management processes

• Supporting tickets and incidents within agreed SLAs

What we’re looking for:

• Exposure to CI/CD, Git and basic scripting/programming

• Experience with Windows Client/Server, Linux and SQL Server would be beneficial

• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing and VPNs

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail

• Someone proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
