SRE at BairesDev

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will ensure the stability and efficiency of our production systems at scale. You will act as a key link between software development and IT operations, applying engineering principles to improve system performance and minimize downtime.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust observability frameworks to monitor system health and gain actionable insights.
• Manage the full incident lifecycle, from rapid detection and response to thorough post-mortem analysis.
• Define and track critical reliability metrics, including SLOs and SLIs, to ensure consistent service quality.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management to eliminate manual toil and improve scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system resilience through proactive maintenance and fault-tolerant design.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Administration.
• Proven expertise in managing production reliability, incident response, and on-call rotations.
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration and scripting with Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience implementing observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Deep understanding of defining and monitoring SLIs and SLOs to ensure system uptime.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
