Linux Performance Engineer at BairesDev

As a Linux Performance Engineer, you will specialize in the low-level optimization of systems performance to ensure high-speed operations at scale. You will serve as the key link between hardware resources and software efficiency, fine-tuning the core components of the Linux environment to maximize throughput and minimize latency.

What You'll Do

• Conduct deep-dive performance analysis across kernel, CPU, memory, and I/O subsystems.
• Utilize advanced profiling tools like eBPF and perf to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
• Optimize kernel parameters and system configurations to support high-performance workloads.
• Profile CPU execution and resource utilization to improve overall computational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide architectural guidance on systems tuning and scalability.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Performance Engineering.
• Proven expertise in low-level Linux performance tuning across kernel, CPU, and I/O subsystems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and deep understanding of Linux kernel internals.
• Hands-on experience with profiling tools such as eBPF, perf, and CPU profiling suites like Nsight or VTune.
• Strong background in kernel parameter tuning and optimizing systems at scale.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
