Then we’d love to hear from you! We are looking for a new Senior Expert/ Architect Storage/Backup & Linux.
What you do:
Senior Expert of IT Platform, Information Technology
Senior Linux & Infrastructure Technical Lead to design, operate, and continuously improve our enterprise IT platforms acting as technical authority, providing leadership, shaping infrastructure architecture, and ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable services.
Technical Leadership & Planning
Act as technical team leader, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical decision-making
Lead project planning, execution, and delivery for infrastructure initiatives
Design and maintain high performance development and production architectures
Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation
Linux Systems & Security
Administer and support enterprise Linux environments (server and desktop)
Design and enforce Linux security standards (SSH, sudo, firewall, system hardening)
Strong understanding on Virtualization & Containerization
Design and operate containerized environments using Docker/Podman
Utilize WSL2 for development and integration workflows
Manage Linux RDP and VNC services
Monitoring & Operations
Implementation and maintenance of monitoring solutions (Checkmk, Icinga, Nagios)
Proactively monitor system health, performance, and availability
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues
Storage & File Services
Architect, deploy, and support enterprise file storage solutions
Expert-level management of PowerScale (or similar), including Vault configurations
Integrate file services with Active Directory
Backup & Data Protection
Design and manage enterprise backup solutions using Networker and Data Domain
Architect Data Domain Vault solutions for long-term retention and compliance
Maintain and improve backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
Basic exposure to modern backup platforms (Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity)
Automation & Process
Design and implement automation using tools such as Ansible, Foreman, Katello, and Salt
Continuously improve infrastructure reliability through automation and standardization
Apply ITIL concepts to incident, change, and problem management
Use Jira for task tracking and project coordination
Required Skills & Experience
Expert-level Linux administration and troubleshooting
Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, Perl)
Deep understanding of enterprise storage and backup technologies
Strong documentation and communication skills
Experience in leading technical teams and infrastructure projects
Nice to Have
Basic networking and VPN knowledge
Familiarity with Active Directory administration
Support Panzura/Nasuni, Qumulo, and Windows File Servers
Experience with virtualization, containers, and Kubernetes, deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters
