Description Of Duties

The Sustainment Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

**Qualifications - External**

Basic Requirements

• Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
• May be reduced with completion of advanced education
• Must have 5, or more, years of directly related experience in Systems, Applications, and/or Network engineering in an enterprise environment.
• Must have 1, or more, years of experience working in a management or leadership role
• Must be certified at the IAT-II (IAW DoDD 8570.01).
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements

• Have experience with systems, applications, and network engineering best practices
• Have knowledge of BMC Remedy or BMC Helix Remedy
• Have knowledge of Solar Winds
• Have extensive knowledge in some of these technologies:
• Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• Active Directory
• Database Servers
• Virtual Machines and Hypervisors
• Cloud services and engineering
• Storage and Backup solutions
• Load Balancers
• Disaster Recovery
• Cybersecurity
• Systems, Applications, and Network monitoring

**This position is expected to pay $130,000 -- $140,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.**
