The Work
The System Operator will support the C2BMC System Test & Integration group configuring and running C2BMC systems, servers, and other components during ground tests in an HWIL environment and eventually the Operational environment. The collection and staging of data will also be performed in coordination with the System Test Data Manager. Ideally, in parallel the candidate will become knowledgeable in the architecture, network, and data flows of the complex C2BMC system and its interoperability with other Missile Defense System sensors, shooters, and elements, providing an opportunity to evolve into a System Integrator. The Integration group is responsible for ensuring systems are successfully integrated prior to test events or operational fielding.

- This position requires a government security clearance at the Secret level.
- This position is located at Schriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.
- Non-standard work hours may be required on occasion, depending on test or fielding schedules
- This position may require travel to fielded sites as well as National Team locations (e.g., Huntsville, HWY83)

- DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) desired but not required to start
- Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the Government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program
- Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
- Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program
- Desire to quickly expand knowledge while supporting a large, complex system
Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
