We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to play a key role in managing and evolving our global IT infrastructure. This is a high-impact opportunity to work with advanced technologies, drive system reliability, and contribute to a growing international organization.

Work Location

This is a fully onsite position based at our Lawrenceville, GA facility. Candidates must be able to work on-site and support occasional travel between local locations, as needed.

What You’ll Do

As our IT Systems Administrator, you will:

• Architect, maintain, and secure Elma’s global IT infrastructure
• Serve as the highest level of support (L3 escalation) for complex technical issues
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise systems
• Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi) and optimize performance
• Support and expand cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure
• Lead backup and disaster recovery strategies across global sites
• Drive system security, patching, and compliance efforts
• Automate processes using PowerShell or Python to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure 24/7 operational stability

These responsibilities directly reflect the role’s focus on infrastructure architecture, security, and high-level troubleshooting of global IT systems.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior-level systems administration
• Strong expertise in:
• VMware (vSphere, vCenter, HA/DRS)
• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, networking, hybrid environments)
• Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
• Storage and networking fundamentals (SAN/NAS, TCP/IP, VLANs)
• Experience with enterprise backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell and/or Python)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Certifications such as VCP, AZ-104, or MCSE are a plus
