We are seeking a highly experienced technical leader to oversee enterprise‑scale Linux server infrastructure and automation across on‑premises and cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, drives modernization, and leads teams through large‑scale automation, patching, and cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, deployment, and optimization of large Linux environments (RHEL, Amazon Linux, Ubuntu, SUSE)
- Own enterprise patching strategy using Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform, and AWS Systems Manager
- Design and maintain disaster recovery architectures, multi‑site failover, and cloud‑based DR solutions
- Build and manage automated AMI pipelines, golden images, and cloud image governance
- Architect and support OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms in hybrid cloud environments
- Implement CIS/STIG security baselines and compliance automation
- Drive infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, and modern IaC tooling
- Mentor Linux engineers and lead technical knowledge‑sharing initiatives
