Optomi, in partnership with a leading electric utility, is seeking a Systems Administrator – Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure & NERC CIP Support to join their team onsite in Moncks Corner, SC. This individual will support mission-critical Operational Technology environments, providing day-to-day administration of Windows and Linux infrastructure while assisting with modernization projects, system monitoring, cybersecurity initiatives, and regulatory compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong systems administration background who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems in a highly collaborative environment.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

• 3+ years of Windows Server administration in an enterprise environment
• Experience supporting Linux servers (RHEL preferred)
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including IP subnetting, VLANs, routing, ICMP, and switching
• Experience with Active Directory administration
• Background supporting enterprise backup, endpoint protection, or infrastructure monitoring platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve technical issues
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Experience

• VMware virtualization
• PRTG Network Monitor
• Veeam Backup & Replication
• Tripwire Enterprise or Tripwire Log Center
• Symantec Endpoint Protection
• NERC CIP or other regulated environments
• Cisco or MikroTik networking

Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments
• Perform patching, system maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure troubleshooting
• Support Active Directory and enterprise security platforms
• Assist with network switch configuration, replacement, and infrastructure improvements
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and perform root cause analysis
• Develop technical documentation and operational procedures
• Support compliance activities within NERC CIP regulated environments
• Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call schedule supporting critical infrastructure
